Joel created Frostwood Capital in 2015 with an extensive background in private equity and real estate. He brings vast experience and knowledge to assist his clients in their desire to attain wealth preservation and the highest level of related private investment office services.

Prior to founding Frostwood Capital, Joel co-founded and operated multiple technology and real estate businesses.  Joel began his career in commercial real estate in 2002 at a retail leasing brokerage firm in Houston.   He then served as a development partner at a retail development firm until 2009.  In 2009 he transitioned into the private equity sector where he assisted business owners with startup capital, structuring, and operations.

   

Joel holds a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and is an active member in multiple charitable organizations.  He is a member of the Episcopal High School Board of Trustees, Methodist Hospital System Presidents Leadership Council and is a past Co-President of The Children’s Fund. Joel served on the Board of Trustees at St. Francis Episcopal School, culminating with a two-year term as Chairman of the Board.  He is also a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church where he previously served as a member of the Finance Committee.  Joel and his wife Jennifer reside in Houston with their three daughters.
